Glenn's Eberron Campaign
Not much is truly known of Thunderwall. Geographically, it lies at the southeastern edge of Xen’drik, at the edge of The Bluespine Peaks. Only the most elite of adventurers from Stormreach have been there, and fewer still have returned. However, the few successful excursions to Thunderwall that returned returned with some of the most powerful artifacts that have ever some out of Xen’drik. Why not send more people there then? Well, Thunderwall is notoriously difficult to get to.
It derived the name “Thunderwall” from the near-constant raging storm that makes arrival by airship near impossible. It also borders the Dark Sea, which all but the bravest of captains choose to set their sails, for fear of krakens and whirlpools or even worse. Those who have been to Thunderwall report the best way to get there is by sailing down The Hydra and then trekking through the jungles of Xen’drik. Even that has proven difficult, for one must make their way through the deepest of the jungles, and then into the cold and rocky Bluespine Peaks. The Bluespine Peaks are also home to storm giants, one of the most terrifying foes of Xen’drik. Overall, getting to Thunderwall has proven near impossible… unless one is favored by The Traveler’s Curse.
The Traveler’s Curse has allowed many to get to and from Thunderwall relatively unscathed, but few have also had a desire or method of pleasing The Traveler to consistently gain his blessing.
